Youth Ministry
Come experience a year of faith formation and fun for middle school and high school youth. Opportunities for youth and adults to “grow in God”. Our group engages our youth where they are and as they are. It’s a time of challenging questions and of listening to another’s spiritual journey; of service to God and the larger community. It’s also lots of fun, as we go bowling, head to the Beach and go hiking! Good times, all around. We also gather once a month for a social group activity, usually at someone’s home or a local venue. We gather to engage scripture, hear powerful life experiences from members of the congregation – but also, to listen to the depth within our own lives. Where is God? Can God use us? These are the types of questions that we wrestle with – and so if you are in high school and are interested in deepening your faith, while also having fun – St. Luke’s youth group is just the place for you. If you are an adult and have an interest and skill in working with youth, we’d love your support. Contact: Rev. Nancy Frausto – revnancy@stlukeslb.org
