Sunday Services8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist
10:00 a.m. Choral Eucharist * 12:30 p.m. Misa en Español *Child care and Sunday School available Our principal service of Holy Eucharist on Sundays is at 10 a.m. Formal in our worship style, informal in the warmth of our fellowship, the service features provocative preaching, full choir, and vibrant energy. In the Episcopal Church, we believe that structure in worship gives us greater spiritual freedom. As part of the Episcopal Church, we use The Book of Common Prayer, Enriching Our Worship, and music from four hymnals. Every worship service in the Episcopal Church has two parts – the Liturgy of the Word when we focus on scripture and the sermon, and Holy Communion when all are invited to the altar. While there is continuity from week to week, at certain times of year we highlight our cultural diversity and the participation of children and youth. If you prefer a church service that is short and meditative, then look no further than our 8 a.m. worship. This service includes biblical readings, prayers, a sermon, and Holy Eucharist. If you enjoy a small congregation and a more reflective atmosphere, this service is for you. Our 12:30 p.m. Spanish service is festive, warm, led by guitar with popular songs and music. Nuestro servicio de 12:30 español es festivo, cálido, liderado por la guitarra con canciones populares y música. Our bilingual services occur throughout the year, such as Maundy Thursday and the Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe, and are joyous gatherings. |
