Are you clear about the path moving forward? We seem to be approaching the end of a pandemic that has changed the world around us, and we all know the world isn’t and can’t be the same. So, what is next? What do I do? Perhaps you’re pondering these questions for home, family, job, and church. When we journey through the wilderness, sometimes we struggle to listen to the source that is there to guide us – the source that manifests through God, ourselves, and others.

Listening for Spirit in Wilderness Times is a five Monday Lenten program that seeks to ground us in the sacred art and spiritual practice of listening as we connect with Spirit’s wisdom. Join us for one of the sessions or for all.

Facilitated by Canon Kay Lindahl, author of The Sacred Art of Listening and Practicing the Sacred Art of Listening.

LENT WITH JONAH: WEDNESDAYS AT 6:00PM (Zoom)

6:00pm – Lenten Bible Study: Jonah (Join here.)
Meeting ID: 865 2464 1323
PASSWORD: 525

Plan on joining us Wednesday nights on Zoom this Lent while we look to the Prophet Jonah and his experience with God.  Whereas Jonah lived three days in the belly of a large fish, we will experience 40-days “in the belly of paradox,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Merton, as we explore how God is at work in our lives when we find ourselves called by God to things we might rather avoid.  We will meet at 6pm on Zoom for five Wednesdays through April 6th. We trust our time together will be prayerful and stimulating – Deacon Steve and Dr. Nancy.

Episcopal Relief & Development’s Lenten Meditations focus on key priority areas

Episcopal Relief & Development invites Episcopalians and people of all faith backgrounds to see Christ in others this Lent through the 2022 Lenten Meditations. This year’s reflections focus on the organization’s three key priority areas – Women, Children and Climate – and feature a special section on Disaster Resilience and Response.

Written by leaders in The Episcopal Church, the meditations reflect an intimate knowledge of the organization’s work. The authors include the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, presiding bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church, the Rev. Gay Clark Jennings, president of the House of Deputies, and other leaders, both lay and clergy. As a part of Episcopal Relief & Development’s goal to become a carbon-neutral organization, the Lenten Meditations are now delivered only via email and as downloadable PDFs at episcopalrelief.org/Lent.

Download the Lenten Meditations and learn more about planning an Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday here.
