Brass Rubbing Center Annual Fundraiser – October 16 – November 10
This will be our 32nd year creating medieval Cassidy Castle in the Parish Hall! Students and adult visitors will step back in history to learn about medieval times, armor, and dress, by way of docent talks and creating a lasting piece of art. Open Tues. – Sat., we need volunteers to man the Center! English Tea is also available for an additional cost and is very popular with kids, as well as adults. Dining on scones, dainty sandwiches and goodies, and drinking tea from china teacups is an experience many children would never have elsewhere. Just a few hours a week, for four weeks.
Support Music and Win a Bit of Christmas!
Ten person tables to the Long Beach Symphony Christmas Pops cost about $960 but St. Luke's is raffling a table for $10 a chance! And, you can get 6 raffle tickets for a donation of $50. Choir members will be in the Parish Hall following worship to sell raffle tickets and to give you books of tickets to sell to family and friends. If each of us sells two 6 ticket booklets, we will raise $12,000-$15,000 to support music at St. Luke's. Buy and sell raffle tickets for a chance to win and to support the Choir!
