and Richard Shepard.
5 PM AVENEL CHAMBER PLAYERS
These musicians have a voracious appetite for interesting and challenging
chamber works for piano and wind instruments. The CP seeks to engage
and provoke audiences with a variety of musical genres, including classical,
contemporary and world music.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
SILENT FILM WITH LIVE ORGAN ACCOMPANIMENT
Lon Chaney stars in the classic 1925 silent film, based on Gaston Leroux's novel.
This tale of horror will be presented as it would have been almost a century ago, with improvised acccompaniment by organist Robert York on the Mighty Austin of St. Luke's. Snacks on sale
before the show. Costumes encouraged.
Admission $12 at the door or $10 in advance.

St. Luke's Choir will be joined by the choir of San Pedro United Methodist
Church to sing music by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Thomas Tallis.
5 PM VINTAGE TANGO
Vintage Tango will feature Vintage 20s-40s Argentine Tangos, French
cabaret Jazz and a selection of songs by Gershwin and Richard Rogers.
Mezzo Soprano, Nicole Werner, joins violinist Alan Busteed, bassist Nicke
Recuber and Brazilian born pianist Marco Godoy.

CHOIR FESTIVAL IN HONOR OF ALL SAINTS
This service of remembrance offers tribute to those who have gone before
us. Choirs from several local Episcopal churches will join St. Luke's Choir in
readings hyms and anthems exploring the themes of All Saints' Day.

4 PM KIRKIN'O'THE TARTAN EVENSONG
The Nicholson Pipes and Drums join St. Luke's Choir in a haunting and solemn
service in homage to Scots in America. Bring or wear your family tartan.
5 PM KIRKIN' SCOTTISH CELEBRATION
The celebration continues in Bellis Hall with the Pipes and Drums and UC
Riverside Highland Dancers. Drink a toast, enjoy the music and dancing.
