St. Luke's ministry of music exists to enhance the worship of
the church, to enable people to offer themselves in service to
God and to reach out to the wider community. The music program
plays a vital part in the life of the parish much as it has over
the past 100 years.
Today, under the direction of David York, the church has a fine
mixed choir, a children's choir and many professional-quality
soloists and instrumentalists accompanied by a 38 rank Austin
pipe organ, a harpsichord, piano and handbells.
St. Luke's Choir sings each Sunday at the 10 AM Eucharist and
also at Evensong on the fourth Sunday of the month at 4 PM. Following
Evensong, at 5 PM, St. Luke's Friends of Music present a concert
featuring musicians from Southern California and beyond.

The First Recording by St. Luke's Choir and Brass has
been made! "Come Let Us Adore Him" features the
Choir, soloists and South Coast Brass presenting music
of the Christmas Season.
CD's will soon be available for purchase at the
church office, parish bookstore and at Music at St. Luke's
Concert Series Programs. $15 each.
Enjoy beautiful Christmas music and support Music at St. Luke's!
